Lantern Room

Tucked away from the main part of the house, this octagonal shape room offers large space perfect for workshops, lectures and presentations. It has no disabled access and is located on the ground floor in the far end of the Benen wing.

The name of the room comes from its octagonal skylight. The Lantern brings a lot of natural light, making it light and airy room with very good acoustics. Its tasteful decor and high ceilings gives an amazing feel of comfort and open space. There is also a piano and French doors leading to our secluded garden.

It is furnished with comfortable armchairs and stackable wooden chairs that can seat up to 35 people either in the round or in lecture room style. Up to 2 large folding tables are available on request.

The room can be hired from 9 am to 8:30 pm. Use of the room for half a day (up to 4 hours) is also possible.
